Transforming everyday appliances into cinematic content for one of the largest retail chains in the region.
The Challenge
Appliance Station, a retail franchise with 13+ stores across San Diego and Baja, Mexico, wanted to elevate its visual marketing.Their products — refrigerators, washers, dryers, and stoves — were essential, but the goal was to make them exciting.They needed social-ready videos that could highlight quality, features, and value — all in seconds.
The Vision & Approach
Adrian Lopez and VMG approached this like a fashion campaign — with light, motion, and emotion.The idea was to turn the store’s weekly product arrivals into cinematic product showcases that made customers stop and pay attention.Each video blended slow-motion shots, clean transitions, and dynamic music to give retail content an unexpected storytelling edge.
Execution
Filmed weekly across multiple store locations, each production included detailed product shots, staff moments, and customer experiences.Adrian handled the full pipeline: shooting, editing, color grading, and delivery optimized for social ads and reels.Through precise camera work and a creative rhythm, even a refrigerator became a hero product.
Impact
The campaign dramatically increased engagement on Instagram and Facebook, and several stores reported noticeable upticks in in-store visits following video postings.VMG’s visual consistency also helped unify the brand’s look across all locations.
